Basic Homecooked Diet
This recipe with medium-fat chicken contains about 800 kcal of energy, enough to feed a typical house cat for thee days. For greater weight control, use lean chicken.
Homecooked Chicken
1. Chicken 5 oz
2. Liver 1 oz
3. Uncooked rice 2.5 oz
4. Sterilized bone meal 2 tsp
5. Iodized salt 5 oz
6. Sunflower or corn oil 1 tsp
Cook the rice, bone meal, salt, and oil in twice their combined volume of water for 20 minutes. Stir in the chicken and liver, and leave to simmer for another 10 minutes. Blend thoroughly and keep refrigerated.
