Behavioral Problems
Marking territory with urine, digging toilet sites in yards, preying upon songbirds, climbing curtains, scratching furniture, and even creating “Grand Prix” racing circuits in the living room are all natural feline behaviors.
Cat owners however, are likely to consider them problematic. True behavior "problems," such as compulsive grooming, obsessions with articles, or even psychosomatic illnesses, do exist but are relatively rare, compared with natural behaviors that we want to modify because we find them offensive.
Use common sense and originality, never harsh discipline, to change your cat's behavior.
