Buying the Right Horse
Buying the right horse can be a lengthy process, and it is common to view several horses before finding one that you like. It is not something you should rush into, and it is wise to think long and hard before making a decision.
If you like the horse and wish to buy it, ask the seller if you may try it for a week. If the seller agrees, this gives you an opportunity to try the horse properly in your own environment, and see if it really is the one for you.
You should only do this if you are serious about buying the horse as it is not fair to the seller otherwise. Before buying a horse it is a very good idea to have it vetted. This is a professional inspection by a vet who will test it for soundness of limb, wind, and heart.
