Caked White Chalk is Very Good
Caked white chalk is very good for covering up last minute stains on horses with white markings. Baby oil rubbed around the muzzle and eyes looks attractive and gives the skin a gloss and shine.
Paint the hooves with hoof oil just before entering the showring to make the feet shine. Use hair gel to keep the mane and tail flat; egg white is a good alternative.
Brush quarter markings on by brushing the hair in the direction of growth, placing a stencil over the quarters and then brushing the hair downward.
Remove the stencil and the pat-tern is left; this can also be done without a stencil.
