A Colorado greyhound trainer has been fined after more than 150 retired greyhound dogs disappeared.
He took charge of these dogs before their disappearance and has been fined $1,000 by the state.
Richard Fauvreau also had his dog-racing license suspended for two months for violating state record-keeping rules.
He declined to comment on the matter but is accused of shipping retired greyhound dogs to Colorado to place them in adoption agencies. He was paid $150 per dog.
