Elimination Problems

Overwhelmingly, the most common behavior problems that frustrate cat owners are those concerned with elimination.

Cats might decide to use places other than the litter box for toileting, possibly because they associate the tray with the pain of cystitis or blocked anal sacs.

 When medical considerations have been ruled out, examine the circumstances in which the problem occurs.

Try different forms of litter to discover which your cat prefers. Keep the litter box clean and place it in a quiet location.
