First-Aid Equipment

Most cats resent the use of any first-aid equipment, especially bandages.

This is unfortunate; bandages keep wounds dry and prevent further injuries, including self-inflicted damage.

Bandages also protect open injuries from contamination, absorb seepage, and minimize pain.

Unless the cat is subdued or sedated, it is almost impossible to apply an effective bandage. If bandages are required, seek veterinary attention.
 
Feline First Aid
A feline first-aid kit should contain a few basics that may be needed in the event of an accident or emergency. Keep all medicines in a safe place.
