Five Dogs Death

Five pit bull terriers mauled a farm worker to death on a plot in Nigel.This is east of Johannesburg and police are investigating the homicide.

The farm worker knew the dogs and was walking past the plot when the dogs jumped the fence and attacked him.

He suffered fatal injuries to his arms, neck, head, and legs. The man died on the scene as neighbors called the ambulance after hearing his screams. Police later shot the fiive dogs.

A police spokerperson said, “Nigel police have decided to open a culpable homiceide investigation against owner of dogs.

Once the police have completed their investigation, they will hand the matter over to the director of public prosecutions. I

f they decide if there’s a case of culpable homicide or to open an inquest – that’s decision for justice department.”
