Fleas, Common on Dogs

Fleas, common on dogs - most frequently actually the cat flea - will bite humans.

It is unlikely that dog or cat fleas can survive on humans, so a few intensely itchy bites are the only likely problem.

 The presence of flea bites on you or your children is a timely reminder that flea control on your dog has, perhaps, not been as effective as you thought.
