Marked

Marked guinea pigs are a combination of two or more colors.

The markings are clear and distinct, arranged in a specific pattern. Each patch of color is sharp and clean, not mixed.

Understandably, this variety is quite a challenge to the breeder.

The Dutch, Himalayan, Broken Color, Dalmatian, Tortoise Shell, and Tortoise-Shell-and-White are all well-known types.
