Monitor the Patent

After giving life-saving first aid to your feline, always have it examined by a veterinarian. If your cat's injuries are not life-threatening, perform a detailed inspection.

Looking for potentially serious, painful, or distressing conditions. Watch the cat’s behavior and observe its responses to you. Li for any unusual breathing sounds and watch your cat’s movements.

Ask your vet to show you how to take your cat's temperature. A normal temperature is between 100°F ( (38°C)and 102 F. If it is above or below normal, seek veterinary attention.

Examine the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, head, and neck. Feel the body, limbs, and tail. Check the anal region for injuries or unusual odor. Monitor your cat’s eating and toileting habits. If there are any changes in normal behavior, contact your vet.
