Mountain Cat Felts Jacobita

This rare cat inhabits the high areas of the Andes. It is the same size as the average domestic cat, although males can be slightly larger.

Its silver-gray coat, spotted or striped with brown or orange, is dense, and makes it well adapted for the bitter weather of its high-altitude habitat.

It has been seen at altitudes of up to 16,000 ft (5,000 m) above sea level.
