Observing Behavior

If a puppy is struggling and biting, it may have a tendency toward dominance aggression.

Shrinking, running away, or hiding are signs of extreme shyness and may develop into fearful behavior - this puppy may not socialize well.

If a puppy follows you with wagging tail held high, accepts petting, and struggles only temporarily when picked up, it has vitality and self-confidence.

It will find the transition from the litter to your home easy.
