Physical Examination Anal and Genital Area

The anal region should have no redness or hair loss.

In a female, the vulva should have no inflammation, discharge, or "pasting" of hair (a sign of discharge and vaginitis).

In a male, both testicles should be present in the scrotum, and the foreskin (prepuce) should slide back and forth easily with no sticking.
