Puma Felis Concolor
Ranging from southern Canada to Patagonia in South America, the puma is also known as the cougar, panther, and mountain lion.
The largest member of the genus Felis, it preys on animals from rodents to deer.
Because it kills domestic livestock, it has been hunted to the point where both the Florida panther and the Eastern puma are now endangered species.
