The Cat's Unique Anatomy and Physiology
The cat's unique anatomy and physiology evolved for survival in its original habitat, North Africa.
This design was elastic enough for successful life elsewhere throughout the world, in the most varied of habitats and even in close proximity to another species, humans.
Everything about the cat's superb design helps it to find food and shelter, to avoid injury, illness, and predators, and to successfully seek a mate and perpetuate its genes.
There is a time limit on all this, however. Aging is controlled by a cat's genetic biological clock, located in the part of the brain called the hypothalamus, which in turn controls the hormonal biofeedback system.
