The Relationship Between Humans and Animals
When we trace the relationship between humans and animals, our interaction with dogs is the oldest. Humans started their association with dogs so long ago that it is unknown when it began.
Some think it began shortly after humans appeared on earth; others suggest a later time when humans tamed wolves; but we do not yet have a definitively proven theory.
Dogs are extremely valuable partners for humans. When humans relied on hunting to obtain food, dogs helped them to hunt.
When humans settled info fixed locations and began to cultivate land and raise livestock, dogs guarded houses, crops, and farm animals from outside attack, and in some cases even managed livestock.
From olden times, dogs have been hard workers, making it seem as though they were born to serve human beings, as seen in their sense of loyalty to their owners and mission toward their work.
It goes without saying, that in the present time dogs remain useful to humans in many ways.
