Types of Commercial Foods

Commercial cat foods are available in three different textures: moist or wet, semi-moist, and dry.

The choice of  what to feed is yours, but remember that texture is important to cats, and their natural prey consists of a satisfying combination of soft, chewy, and crunchy bits.

Dry foods are most convenient for you and the best test delicious to cats, while moist foods in cans or vacuum packs contain more water, usually around 80 per cent, beneficial for some cats. Semi-moist foods are a small part of the market.
